Research Integrity Training Requirement
Research integrity is a core value and bedrock of our research culture. To equip our research community with an aligned understanding of this crucial subject, and to further good research practices at the University, VPRDO is pleased to arrange training on the Responsible Conduct of Research via the CITI Program. This is a compulsory training course for all faculty, researchers, and research postgraduate students. We hope it will deepen your understanding of the nature of the work you do, empowering you to make ethical, principled decisions when conducting research.
At a glance
• Effective 1 January 2023, completion of the training is a prerequisite for conducting any research project via HKUST, HKUST (GZ), and HKUST Mainland Platforms.
• Upon fulfilling the certification requirements, your completion of the training will be automatically updated in HKUST systems.
• For faculty and staff, your training certificate is valid for five years. You will be notified to refresh your training ahead of expiration.
