Design Thinking & Entrepreneurship
“Design Thinking” is a powerful methodology for innovation. It considers human, social and business factors along with the technological ones to create unique and elegant human-centric solutions. Leveraging technology design competencies within HKUST, the University aims to nurture innovators and researchers with a design- and system-thinking mindset and entrepreneur spirit to create impactful solutions in key areas. To this end, pedagogical innovation and transdisciplinary research in integrative systems and design are pioneered under a new academic division, Division of Integrative Systems and Design.
